Brazil police investigate multiple murders in Maringá, Itapira, and Rochedo

Authorities in Brazil are investigating several violent incidents across different states.

In Maringá, Paraná, police have issued arrest warrants for Kauã Kazahaya de Arruda, 20, and Angelina Oliveira da Silva, 18, following the death of American game developer Tamir Nadav. Nadav, known for his work on titles such as ‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ and ‘The Walking Dead: A New Frontier’, was found dead in his home with his hands and feet bound. Investigators suspect a financial motive, noting that the suspects allegedly used funds from the victim's accounts to make significant purchases shortly after his disappearance.

In Rochedo, Mato Grosso do Sul, two 20-year-old women, Ellen Vitória Moreira da Cruz and Vitória Gabriely Souza Cordeiro, were found dead inside a house that had been set on fire. Police report the victims were stabbed before the arson occurred. One suspect, identified as a suspected gang member, died following a confrontation with police, while another suspect was arrested in Rio Negro.

Additionally, in Itapira, São Paulo, real estate agent Fabiola Fernandes Araujo was shot and killed inside a taxi. The attack occurred on a rural road while she was traveling to show a property to a potential buyer. Two men on a motorcycle intercepted the vehicle, robbed the victim of her belongings, and opened fire. The suspects remain at large.
