Rochefort-sur-Loire festival faces controversy over lineup
The upcoming second edition of the O’ffange Rock Festival, scheduled for August 29, 2026, in Rochefort-sur-Loire, is facing controversy regarding its lineup. Local activist and union groups, including SUD Culture 49, Solidaires 49, and Les Soulèvements de Loire, have voiced opposition to the inclusion of the rock group No One Is Innocent as a headliner.
The protest centers on the group's lead singer, Marc Gulbenkian, also known as Kemar. Critics point to past allegations, including a 2017 sexual assault complaint that was dismissed by the Paris prosecutor's office in 2022 due to insufficient evidence. The singer has consistently denied the allegations. The controversy also references previous reports regarding domestic violence convictions.
