Rochester, Minnesota, has been ranked as the best city in the state for renters according to a new list from RentCafe.com. The city placed 21st nationally in the overall rankings, surpassing Minneapolis, which ranked 49th, and St. Paul, which ranked 87th.

The RentCafe ranking evaluated 150 U.S. cities based on 20 metrics, including affordability, walkability, renter income growth, and the number of social associations. Rochester specifically earned high marks in the local economy category, where it ranked 27th nationally.
