Rochester Red Wings celebrate International League title and awards

The Rochester Red Wings are celebrating their first International League title in 29 years with an event at ESL Ballpark on Monday evening. The team secured the championship last Thursday after a series victory against the Memphis Redbirds. Although the Red Wings recently fell 5-3 to the Oklahoma City Comets in the Triple-A National Championship game in Las Vegas, the organization is honoring their postseason success.

Following their championship run, manager Matt LeCroy has been named the 2026 International League Manager of the Year, marking the first time a Red Wings skipper has received the honor since 1997. LeCroy led the team to a 90-53 record, the franchise's most wins in a single season since 1953. Additionally, Trey Lipscomb was named to the International League All-Star team as a utility player, and Yohandy Morales was selected as an All-Star at third base.
