Rochester woman accused of exploiting elderly relative

An arrest warrant has been issued for 39-year-old Danielle Linae Nimox-Johnson, who is accused of financially exploiting a vulnerable adult in Rochester, Minnesota. According to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court, Nimox-Johnson was granted power of attorney to manage the finances of an elderly relative who was residing in a memory care facility.

Investigators from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office allege that Nimox-Johnson used the victim's funds to cover her own personal expenses, including rent for her apartment and various debit transactions for services such as Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash. Calculations suggest that more than $16,000 was withdrawn from the victim's accounts between October 2025 and June 2026, when the accounts were eventually frozen.

Nimox-Johnson's last known location was in Wisconsin, but her current whereabouts remain unknown.
