Rock and metal music industry announces major 2027 tours and festivals

The rock and metal music industry has begun announcing major concert tours, music festivals, and themed cruises scheduled for 2027. Notable touring acts already confirmed for the year include Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Slipknot.

Major music festivals slated for 2027 include Lollapalooza in Chicago, South by Southwest, Coachella, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. European summer festivals such as Wacken, Rock am Ring, and Sweden Rock Festival are also expected to feature prominent lineups.

Additionally, several music-themed cruises, including Jam Cruise 23 and the Rock Legends Cruise, are scheduled to take place before March 2027. The upcoming season features a wide array of classic and heavy metal artists, including Judas Priest, Motley Crue, and Slash.
