Rock and roll concerts scheduled for Ferragosto in Italy

Various rock and roll and rockabilly musical events are scheduled for the Ferragosto period in Italy.

On Friday, August 14, the band Hound Dogs will perform at Villa Trossi Uberti. The Livorno-based trio, featuring Massimi Giovacchini, Alessio Masoni, and Alessandro Brilli, will play a repertoire of American rock and roll and country hits from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, including songs by Elvis Presley and Little Richard.

On Saturday, the band The Rebel Cats will hold a free concert at the skating rink event area in Castrocaro Terme. Active since 1983, the group includes Paolo Domeniconi, Steve Prati, Andrea Afflitti, and Manuele Guidi. Their performance will cover genres such as swing, country, and blues, featuring classics from artists like Carl Perkins and Buddy Holly.
