Rock bands celebrate three decades of musical careers

Several prominent rock bands are marking significant career milestones with new releases and live performances.

Argentine band Los Tipitos will perform in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, on November 7 at the Plaza de Toros Real de San Carlos. The concert, part of the Tanda cycle, will feature songs from their latest album, ‘Boludo’, alongside classics from their 32-year history.

In Argentina, Kapanga is celebrating 30 years with the release of ‘30 Años de Perlas’. The eight-track album features collaborations with various artists, including La Mona Jiménez, Milo J, Damas Gratis, and Los Cafres, blending genres such as rock, reggae, cumbia, and urban music.

Mexican band Pastilla is preparing to celebrate 30 years of independent rock. They have scheduled a special concert for February 6, 2027, at the Lunario del Auditorio Nacional. Additionally, they plan to release a live hits album in the first half of 2027, featuring 15 tracks recorded at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles.
