General ticket sales for the 2026 edition of Rock in Rio open on Monday, 8 June, at 19:00 local time. Sales are handled exclusively through Ticketmaster’s website following a pre‑sale on 2 June that sold out in less than two hours.

Ticket prices are R$ 870 for a full‑price day‑pass and R$ 435 for a half‑price pass. Itaú customers receive a discounted rate of R$ 739.50 and can pay in up to eight interest‑free installments; other banks allow six installments. No service fee is charged. A premium “Comfort Zone” area is priced at R$ 1 950 (full) and R$ 975 (half). Buyers may purchase up to four tickets per day per CPF, with a limit of one half‑price ticket per day, and people with disabilities can add one additional half‑price ticket for a companion.

The festival will run on 4‑7 September and 11‑13 September 2026 in Rio de Janeiro and features a line‑up that includes Foo Fighters, Elton John, Barão Vermelho, Nelly, Halsey, Lola Young and many others. Promotional activities ahead of sales have included paramotor flights over Rio’s beaches, giant guitars, drones and LED displays showcasing the event’s branding.
