Rock in Rio adds ticket giveaway and backstage updates

Brazilian pharmacy chain Venancio, in partnership with Rádio Mix FM, launched a promotion that will award 30 pairs of tickets to the festival’s grass field. Customers who spend at least R$ 120 on eligible products between 14 July and 17 August receive a lucky‑draw number; the draw will take place on 22 August. The offer is open to Venancio’s VClube members and can be entered through the radio’s website.

Organisers of this year’s Rock in Rio also revealed behind‑the‑scenes details, noting the hiring of Korean translators to support the K‑pop group Stray Kids. Artists have requested items such as aromatic candles, essential oils and even a hundred hangers for dressing rooms. The festival continues to broaden its line‑up with contemporary genres like trap and K‑pop, underscoring its aim to blend Brazil’s musical heritage with global trends.
