Rock in Rio 2026 tickets sell out within hours for two September dates

General ticket sales for Rock in Rio 2026 opened online on 8 June 2026 at 19:00 via Ticketmaster Brazil. Within about two hours, the tickets for the September 6 and September 12 festival days were completely sold out, prompting disappointment among many fans.

The festival runs on 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 September at the Parque Olímpico in Rio de Janeiro. Gram‑area tickets cost R$ 870 (full price) or R$ 435 (half‑price), with a special Itaú discount of 15 %. The new "Comfort Zone" tickets, which give access to an exclusive lounge beside the Mundo Stage, are priced at R$ 1 950 (full) or R$ 975 (half). Purchases are limited to four tickets per buyer per day, and people with disabilities may add one companion ticket. The platform warned of heavy traffic and advised buyers to avoid unofficial resale sites.

Fans who missed out can still try to obtain tickets through cancellations that reappear on the Ticketmaster site within seven days of purchase, as allowed by Brazilian consumer law. Official channels remain the only safe way to secure tickets for the remaining dates.
