Rock music evolution and new releases

A retrospective look at the 21st century's musical landscape highlights the continued evolution and diversification of rock music. In contemporary releases, Atlanta-based band Psychic Death has released their debut full-length album, ‘The Garden / The Grave’, via A Certain Fate. The record blends deathrock, post-punk, darkwave, and noise, characterized by abrasive guitars, atmospheric synthesizers, and shifting rhythms.
