Rock Tech Lithium secures 100,000‑tonne off‑take deal with Transamine for Ontario project

Rock Tech Lithium Inc. signed a binding long‑term offtake agreement with Geneva‑based commodity trader Transamine SA for spodumene concentrate from its Georgia Lake project in northern Ontario. The seven‑year contract, dated July 24 2026, will commence deliveries in 2028, with an option to extend for up to five additional years. Volume ramps from 50,000 dry metric tonnes in the first year to 100,000 tonnes annually, with a ±10% tolerance in Rock Tech’s favour.

The deal includes a development pre‑payment facility of up to US$80 million to support the Georgia Lake project, accruing interest at three‑month CME Term SOFR plus 2.95%. Pricing will follow the Fastmarkets 6 % Li₂O benchmark, adjusted for grade and inflation. The agreement preserves Rock Tech’s ability to process Ontario lithium into battery‑grade chemicals at its planned Red Rock Lithium Converter, advancing an integrated mine‑to‑converter supply chain for Canada and its allies.
