Rockefeller Center and Le Barcarès announce 2026 winter season details

Major holiday attractions in New York and southern France are preparing for their 2026 winter seasons.

The Rink at Rockefeller Center will celebrate its 90th anniversary, reopening on October 10, 2026. The season will feature an expanded Skate House, a new VIP Skate Lounge, and a renovated VIP Skate program offering priority access and seasonal refreshments. Additionally, Holiday Chalets will return on November 6, and six 90th Anniversary Lodges will be introduced on November 20. Chef Greg Baxtrom of 5 Acres will design the festive food and beverage menus for these spaces.

In Le Barcarès, France, the Village de Noël will operate from November 21, 2026, to January 3, 2027. The coastal Christmas market will feature a natural ice rink alongside a new Ice Palace with updated scenery. The event includes traditional wooden stalls, craft markets, a Ferris wheel, and themed areas such as Santa’s House and an Enchanted Forest to accommodate families.
