Rocket From the Crypt Restores Lost 1995 Album Ahead of Limited Tour

A fan discovered master tapes of Rocket From the Crypt’s 1995 album and related EP on the online marketplace OfferUp. Lead singer John Reis purchased the tapes, learned they contained almost the entire "Scream, Dracula, Scream!" recording, and began a restoration process that included using a reptile egg incubator to "bake" the tapes and halt sticky shed syndrome.

The band plans to release the early version of the album under the title "Scream, Frankenstein, Scream!" and will sell the vinyl exclusively at five shows scheduled for October and November. Attendees will be able to purchase the restored record only at these concerts.
