Rocket Lab completes 94th Electron mission and expands satellite services

Rocket Lab has successfully completed its 94th Electron rocket mission, deploying a StriX Earth-imaging satellite for the Japanese radar operator Synspective. This mission maintains Rocket Lab’s perfect success record for Synspective payloads and has resulted in the Japanese firm booking 16 additional Electron missions to expand its synthetic aperture radar constellation.

Beyond launch services, Rocket Lab is increasingly focused on its space systems segment, which generates over 70% of its total revenue through the development of satellite components, buses, and solar panels. The company is also working to close an $8 billion acquisition of Iridium, a satellite network developer, which is expected to expand its space systems capabilities and cash flow.

Rocket Lab serves a diverse client base, including NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and the Swedish National Space Agency. The company is also developing the higher-capacity Neutron rocket and provides HASTE launch vehicles for U.S. Department of Defense hypersonic and suborbital technology testing.
