Rocket League World Championship to debut new multi-format tournament in Fort Worth

The 2026 Rocket League World Championship is scheduled to take place from September 15 to September 20 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. This edition introduces a historic change to the competitive format, as organizers will award world titles in 3v3, 2v2, and 1v1 formats simultaneously for the first time.

A total of 20 qualified teams will compete for a prize pool of 1.2 million euros. The event structure includes a three-day closed competition without a live audience, followed by three days of live matches starting September 18.

The tournament features a strong international lineup. European teams such as Karmine Corp, Gentle Mates, Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Manchester City have qualified directly for the main event. Other regions are represented by North American teams like NRG and Shopify Rebellion, South American teams including MIBR and FURIA, and MENA representatives such as Twisted Minds. A play-in stage will determine the final four spots for the 16-team main event.
