Rockit Global appoints Sarah Le Verne as Chief People Officer

Rockit Global has appointed Sarah Le Verne as its new Chief People Officer (CPO) to support the company’s growth through 2027. Le Verne joins from the technology firm MATTR, where she served as Global Head of People and Culture. Her professional background includes leadership roles at Fonterra, Russell McVeagh, Babcock, and EROAD.

Rockit Global CEO Grant McBeath noted that Le Verne’s experience with agile and hybrid environments, as well as her interest in artificial intelligence, will benefit the leadership team. Le Verne is scheduled to begin her role on 28 September, relocating from Auckland to Hawke's Bay.

In other New Zealand business news, Fonterra has reached its post-Mainland target for whey ahead of schedule. Additionally, Air New Zealand is increasing capacity for the school holiday period, with an expectation to transport approximately 850,000 passengers.
