Rockley Bulls secure back-to-back Mid West Community Cup premierships

The Rockley Bulls have claimed consecutive Mid West Community Cup titles after defeating the Koorawatha Jets 12-10 in a grand final held at Kandos on Saturday, October 24.

In a closely contested match at Waratah Park, the Bulls secured the victory through a final-quarter try by Nic Barlow. Despite dominating possession and field territory during the latter half of the game, Rockley narrowly won by two points against a determined Koorawatha side, which was competing in its first rugby league season since 2012.

Captain Hudson White noted the significance of the win for the small town of Rockley, which has a population of approximately 200 people. White credited the team's ability to dig deep following halftime adjustments for the successful defense of their title.
