Rockmuseet announces dark music theme for October events

Rockmuseet has announced a special programming series for October titled ‘Rockmuseet goes dark’. The initiative explores the darker, more rebellious sides of rock music history, focusing on genres and artists that embrace chaos, noise, and the unconventional, such as punk and heavy metal.

The program features themes related to artists like Nick Cave, Patti Smith, and Black Sabbath. While many events are designed for adults to explore intense musical narratives, the museum is also offering family-friendly activities during the autumn holidays, including scavenger hunts, spooky hits, and a ghost choir, culminating in a ‘Halloween Warm Up’ on the final day of the month.
