Rockson Yeboah impresses in first Osasuna start despite defeat

Ghanaian defender Rockson Yeboah delivered a strong individual performance in his first start for Osasuna, despite the team's 2-0 defeat against Espanyol in LaLiga at El Sadar Stadium.

The 22-year-old centre-back demonstrated defensive composure, winning six of eight duels, including both aerial contests, and recording five clearances, one interception, and five recoveries. Yeboah also showed proficiency in possession, completing 59 of 65 passes with a 91% accuracy rate, including eight successful long passes and several progressive carries and passes.

Yeboah joined Osasuna from Swedish club IFK Göteborg in August in a €3 million deal, signing a contract through June 2031. His previous experience includes playing in UEFA Conference League qualifying matches for Göteborg and a loan spell at AEK Athens B.
