Rockstar Games adds new GTA Online heist while Mexican casino branding sparks confusion

Rockstar Games announced on July 15 that Grand Theft Auto Online will feature a new heist mission called the "Cortz Center Heist." The mission lets players infiltrate a cultural museum, steal high‑value art pieces, and choose between selling the loot or displaying it in their virtual homes. The update also introduces several new vehicles, additional weapon upgrades, and bonus rewards for GTA+ members, as well as new creator tools for mission design.

In Mexico, the "Rockstar" name is used both for the virtual casino embedded in GTA Online and for a separate, unlicensed online casino operating under the Rockstar Casino brand. This dual usage creates consumer confusion about licensing, regulatory oversight, and player protections, prompting players to scrutinise the fine print before engaging with the platform.
