Rockstar Games enforces GTA VI cast NDAs amid massive data leak

Rockstar Games is reportedly enforcing strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for the cast of Grand Theft Auto VI, following actor Stephen Root's public confirmation of his role as Brian Heder. Reports suggest the studio has sent reminders to performers that they cannot officially announce their involvement until the game's release on November 19, 2026.

Simultaneously, a massive 192GB leak of Rockstar Games data has surfaced online. This archive includes the source code for Grand Theft Auto V, assets for a canceled single-player expansion titled 'Agent Trevor,' and early, low-fidelity map data for Grand Theft Auto VI. The leak also reveals plans for a previously unreleased Liberty City expansion for GTA V, which featured a larger layout than its predecessor in GTA IV.

In a separate development, Rockstar Games has updated its policies regarding game modifications, explicitly prohibiting modders from altering official story content, characters, or combining elements from different titles in the studio's catalog.
