Rockstar Games' GTA 6 to Feature Red Dead Redemption 2‑Style Weapon Locker

Rockstar Games announced the Ultimate Edition of Grand Theft Auto VI, which includes a free garage equipped with a weapons locker. The locker limits players to a small number of large weapons and handguns, mirroring the inventory system used in Red Dead Redemption 2 and encouraging more deliberate load‑out choices.

The garage also contains a stash box for depositing stolen goods, suggesting that looting and dynamic robberies will play a larger role in the game. Pre‑orders have begun worldwide, with the standard edition priced at $79.99. Physical copies will be sold as digital codes, a decision that has led some retailers to refuse to stock the title. GTA 6 is slated for release on November 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
