Rockstar Games launches $1 million GTA Online bonus in August 2026

Rockstar Games is offering a free 1,000,000 GTA$ to any player who logs into GTA Online between 6 August and 12 August 2026. The cash is credited automatically within 72 hours of the qualifying login. The promotion also doubles earnings on several high‑payoff heists – including the Fleeca, Pacific Standard and Cayo Perico robberies – and provides extra rewards for completing specific in‑game challenges during the same period.

The initiative is intended to raise daily active users for GTA Online as the company prepares for the upcoming release of GTA VI. Take‑Two Interactive’s CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously indicated that GTA Online will continue to be supported after GTA VI’s multiplayer mode launches, underscoring the long‑term importance of the service.
