Rockstar Games reveals GTA 6 audio features and merchandise

Rockstar Games has revealed several new details regarding Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of its scheduled release on November 19. A major focus of the upcoming title is its immersive audio experience. For the first time in the franchise, players will be able to listen to radio stations and on-demand podcasts while exploring the world on foot by using headphones or earbuds connected to their characters' smartphones.

Six radio stations have been confirmed for the Leonida setting: Cocoteo FM (Latin music), Back Country Radio (country), AfroBank FM (African music), The Chamber 106.6 (metal), Flash FM (pop), and Dirty South Classics (rap and hip-hop). The stations will feature high-profile hosts and artists, including Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Robyn, and Burna Boy. To support the game's musical atmosphere, Rockstar is releasing an official soundtrack titled ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album’, which features 34 original tracks.

In addition to audio features, Rockstar has launched a new collection of official merchandise in its online store. The collection includes various T-shirts, hats, and canvas tote bags featuring logos and motifs from the game's marketing campaign. To enhance environmental realism, the studio has also employed a dedicated team in Los Angeles specifically to write dialogue for non-player characters (NPCs) to ensure the world feels alive.
