Rockstar Games reveals new GTA 6 imagery of Lucia and Jason

Rockstar Games has released new promotional imagery for Grand Theft Auto VI, featuring the game’s protagonists, Lucia and Jason. The images, which appeared in Love Magazine, depict the duo in various everyday settings rather than showing direct gameplay. Scenes include the pair sitting in a diner booth and Jason playing billiards in a biker bar.

Developers provided insight into the narrative direction, noting that the characters’ version of the ‘American Dream’ is grounded in practical goals like owning a home and paying off debts, rather than achieving billionaire status. Rockstar’s Senior Vice President of Narrative, Rupert Humphries, and writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern emphasized a desire to create complex, vulnerable, and flawed characters who learn from one another.

The marketing campaign also includes a tie-in event titled ‘A Night in Vice City’ announced by the Miami Heat. The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
