Grand Theft Auto VI reveals Leonida map, wildlife, and weather details FAST-MOVING

Rockstar Games has revealed extensive details regarding Grand Theft Auto VI, set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game takes place in Leonida, a fictional version of Florida, featuring a map approximately twice the size of Grand Theft Auto V.

The game introduces a highly dynamic weather system capable of simulating tropical storms and hurricanes, with localized effects such as puddles, wind-driven debris, and moving cloud formations. The ecosystem is significantly expanded, featuring over 170 animal species, including birds, land mammals, reptiles, and marine life like manatees and sharks.

Leonida is divided into six distinct regions: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park. Players can engage in various activities, including base jumping, scuba diving, mini-golf, and street racing. The game also features a deeper relationship system between the protagonists, Jason and Lucia.

Due to high anticipation and the lack of an initial PC release, demand for high-performance hardware has surged. Internal communications suggest that PS5 Pro supply constraints may persist until early 2027 as players seek optimal performance for the title.
