Rockstar Games rolls out GTA Online Kortz Center Heist update
Rockstar Games confirmed that the new "Kortz Center Heist" will be released for GTA Online on July 14, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The heist task players with infiltrating the prestigious Kortz Center art museum in Los Santos, swapping original works with near‑perfect forgeries and either selling the stolen pieces or displaying them in their own mansion.
To start the mission, players need a mansion equipped with the new Art Studio, which serves as the planning hub and allows them to hire a forger. The operation emphasizes stealth; avoiding witnesses and camera footage yields higher payouts. New paintings are added weekly, many of which contain Easter‑egg references to other Rockstar titles such as GTA IV, Red Dead and San Andreas.
The update also brings a fleet of high‑end vehicles, including the Grotti Veleno GT, which GTA+ members can claim for free before it becomes available to all. Players who enroll in the temporary Art Collector program before July 13 can earn bonuses up to 1.5 million GTA$, as well as exclusive items and discounts.
Industry observers note that this may be the last major GTA Online content before the launch of GTA VI later in the year, and speculation continues about whether an online component will accompany the new single‑player title.
