Rockstar Games rumored to be developing L.A. Noire sequel

Rumors suggest Rockstar Games is developing a sequel to the detective game ‘L.A. Noire’. According to reports from a leaker who previously provided accurate information regarding ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’, the new title, potentially ‘L.A. Noire 2’, could be set in San Francisco and follow a detective hunting the ‘Zodiac Killer’.

While the leak suggests a release as early as 2030, industry analysts believe this timeline may be optimistic. Rockstar Games is currently focusing its primary resources on the development and support of ‘GTA 6’, a process expected to continue through at least 2027 or 2028.

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has not officially confirmed the project, stating there is ‘no specific news to announce regarding L.A. Noire’ at this time. However, he noted that the team continues to consider the future development of their classic intellectual properties.
