Rockstar Games says no layoffs post‑GTA 6 launch as Summer DLC date leaks

Take‑Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick told media that no staff reductions are planned after the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. He said, "I have no reason to believe we will see changes in the composition of the team," noting that work will continue on bug fixes, a new GTA Online version, PC and next‑gen releases, and future projects.

A separate report indicates that Rockstar’s GTA Online Summer DLC is expected on July 14, 2026. The DLC may be the final update before GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026, and is rumored to include teasers and content that promote the upcoming game.
