Rockstar Spud announced for in-ring return with PROGRESS Wrestling

Rockstar Spud, also known as Drake Maverick, is set to return to in-ring competition. PROGRESS Wrestling has announced that Spud will compete during their Odyssey Tour on September 12 and 13.

This marks his first wrestling match since November 2021. While Spud has remained with WWE in a backstage creative capacity since his release from the active roster in 2021, this appearance in the UK signifies his return to professional wrestling after an absence of over 1,700 days.
