Rockstar's GTA 6 launch offers Ultimate pre‑order and draws PC scam warnings

Rockstar Games announced the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI, with a $100 Ultimate edition that bundles exclusive vehicles, weapons, locations and a one‑month GTA+ membership. Both digital and physical copies can be pre‑loaded from 12 November, and the physical version provides a download code rather than a disc. The package also includes a retro content pack featuring classic in‑game items.

The game will initially launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, with a PC version slated for a later date. The delayed PC release has been exploited by scammers targeting PC and Android users. Fraudsters circulate fake “GTA 6” beta keys, malicious apps, and torrent bundles that embed information stealers, banking trojans and ransomware. Security firm NordVPN warned users to avoid offers promising early access and to verify any links before clicking.
