Rockwell Automation expands industrial AI and remote support capabilities

Rockwell Automation has introduced several new technological advancements aimed at enhancing industrial automation and digital transformation. The company launched TechConnectIQ Support, a modernized remote support service designed to help manufacturers reduce downtime and simplify software and firmware updates. Available 24/7/365, the service provides real-time access to technical specialists, AI-driven support tools, and augmented reality guidance. Currently available for single-site contract customers in North America, the service is expected to expand to additional regions by 2027.

Additionally, Rockwell Automation announced an API-enabled integration between its Plex Quality Management System (QMS) and FactoryTalk Analytics VisionAI. This integration utilizes artificial intelligence to provide automated quality intelligence and improved visual inspection. By connecting Plex QMS with FactoryTalk Analytics VisionAI, manufacturers can detect anomalies and reduce defects with greater traceability and product serialization compared to traditional visual inspection methods.
