Rockwell Automation expands SecureOT with Fortinet support

Rockwell Automation has expanded its SecureOT industrial cybersecurity solution suite by adding two new managed services: Fortinet-compatible firewall managed services and infrastructure managed services. These additions are designed to help manufacturers secure and maintain their operational technology (OT) environments while leveraging existing infrastructure investments.

The Fortinet-compatible firewall managed service now supports Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, providing advanced threat detection based on FortiGuard Labs data. Rockwell Automation will manage monitoring, alarm management, rule changes, patching, and firmware updates on behalf of the customer to reduce operational complexity.

The infrastructure managed service offers a scalable, fully managed solution for industrial networks and computing environments. It provides 24/7 global support, secure monitoring, and hardware lifecycle management for components such as industrial data centers, virtual appliances, firewalls, and network switches. This service aims to assist manufacturers in reducing cyber risks and operational costs while maintaining high availability.
