Rockwell Automation launches AI-native orchestration platform

Rockwell Automation has introduced FactoryTalk Conductor, an AI-native orchestration platform designed to coordinate AI-powered workflows throughout the industrial automation lifecycle. The software aims to connect AI agents, skills, and workflows from system design through to operation and maintenance, allowing users to initiate engineering tasks using natural language.

The platform is scheduled for commercial availability in the first quarter of 2027 and will make its public debut at Automation Fair 2026 in Boston. It is designed to integrate with existing tools such as Studio 5000 Logix Designer, Logix Echo, Emulate3D, and FactoryTalk Optix.

In a separate announcement, Rockwell Automation was included in 21 Gartner Hype Cycle reports. These reports cover various industrial technologies and artificial intelligence applications, including manufacturing operations, industrial cybersecurity, supply chain, and private networks.
