Rocky musical seeks international expansion to Spain

The Argentine musical production of ‘Rocky’, starring Nico Vázquez, is in negotiations to expand internationally to Spain. Following a successful run in Buenos Aires that drew over 100,000 spectators, the production has been declared of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

According to reports, a leading Spanish musical producer, which manages five venues, is in talks with Preludio and RGB to bring the show to Spain. The goal is to export the specific Argentine adaptation rather than a Broadway version, aiming to maintain the artistic identity and potentially include members of the original Buenos Aires cast.
