Spanish television networks implement major programming shifts
Spanish television networks are undergoing significant programming shifts and seeing notable audience fluctuations during the new season.
On Mediaset, the morning schedule has seen a strategic reorganization. Joaquín Prat’s 'El Tiempo Justo' achieved a record 12.7% audience share following its move to a 12:00 slot. Meanwhile, Cuatro is expanding the broadcast time of Nacho Abad’s 'En boca de todos' to start at 10:00, following strong viewership trends. Mediaset is also leaning into more conservative editorial lines in its morning programming.
At RTVE, the game show 'El Túnel', hosted by Jesús Vázquez, is concluding its season. The network accelerated the format's end by concentrating the semifinals and the grand final—featuring a 150,000 euro prize—into a single week. The show has seen varying audience levels, starting at 12.2% and experiencing fluctuations during its run.
In other news, presenter Rocío Cano announced her pregnancy during the return of the program 'Aruser@s' on La Sexta.
