Rod Stewart announces farewell tour ‘The Final Encore’ for 2027

Rock veteran Rod Stewart has announced his farewell tour, titled ‘The Final Encore’, scheduled for 2027. The tour will mark the end of his six-decade live performance career and is set to span North America, Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe.

In Italy, a single date has been confirmed for June 26, 2027, at Villa Manin in Codroipo. While the tour concludes his time on the road, Stewart clarified that he has no plans to retire from music entirely and is currently recording new material.

Regarding his health, the 81-year-old singer reported feeling ‘f***ing brilliant’ following a routine coronary stent procedure in August. This procedure had previously forced the cancellation of his remaining tour dates for the year. His wife, Penny Lancaster, confirmed he is making a full recovery and maintains a regular fitness routine.
