Rod Stewart cancels farewell tour dates after coronary stent procedure

Sir Rod Stewart has canceled the remaining dates of his ‘One Last Time’ farewell tour following a routine coronary stent procedure. The 81-year-old singer had previously postponed a concert in Cincinnati and canceled a performance in Cleveland due to an unforeseen medical matter requiring prompt attention.

According to representatives, the procedure was successful and Stewart is recovering well. While he has already returned to his normal daily activities, doctors have advised him to dedicate the next four weeks to full recuperation.

The tour cancellations affect scheduled performances through September 3, including a six-night residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and several shows in Mexico. Stewart expressed his disappointment to fans but noted he is ‘very much on the mend’ and thanked his medical team.
