Rod Stewart cancels tour dates following heart procedure

British singer Rod Stewart, 81, has canceled the remaining dates of his ‘One Last Time’ tour following a routine coronary stent procedure. The medical intervention was successful, and while Stewart has already returned to his normal daily activities, doctors have advised a four-week period of rest to ensure full recovery before he returns to the stage.

The cancellations affect several upcoming performances across North America, including a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and scheduled concerts in Mexico, specifically in Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. The announcement follows recent health-related postponements in Cincinnati and Cleveland.

In a statement shared via social media, Stewart expressed his disappointment regarding the cancellations but thanked his medical team. He noted, “I’m already feeling better and very much on the mend. I want to thank the doctors, nurses and everyone who has taken such wonderful care of me.” Promoters and venues are expected to provide further information regarding rescheduled dates or ticket refunds.
