Rod Stewart cancels US and Mexico tour dates after heart operation
Singer Rod Stewart has cancelled his upcoming tour dates in the United States and Mexico following a coronary stent procedure. The 81-year-old artist, currently on his ‘One Last Time’ tour, will take four weeks off to recover from the heart operation.
Penny Lancaster stated that the decision to cancel the tour, which included scheduled performances in Ohio, Illinois, Las Vegas, and Mexico, was made following medical advice to manage risk factors. She noted that Stewart’s high-energy performance style, which involves intense physical activity for nearly two hours, required a period of gradual recovery.
Stewart is reportedly returning to his daily activities and is expected to return for US tour dates next year.
