Roda de Choro debuts new season with Jacob do Bandolim tribute
Rádio MEC has launched a new season of the program Roda de Choro, beginning with a tribute to the 1967 album Vibrações by Jacob do Bandolim. The episode highlights the technical precision and sound quality of the record, which is considered a career milestone for the musician.
In addition to playing tracks from the album, the program features a historical interview with Jacob do Bandolim conducted for the Museu da Imagem e do Som. In the recording, he discusses the creation of Vibrações and the initial formation of his group, Época de Ouro.
