Rodeo Saltillo 2026 announces official theme song

The Rodeo Saltillo 2026 event has released its official theme song, performed by Manuel Covarrubias. Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas shared the video on social media to promote the upcoming festivities, which aim to celebrate northern Mexican identity and cowboy traditions.

The song references regional symbols such as the bull Óscar, the Rayito arena, the Rodeo de las Estrellas, and the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro, while also acknowledging international rodeo hubs like Calgary, Fort Worth, and Barretos.

Scheduled for October 15 to 18 at the new Expo Coahuila facilities, the event will span four days. The musical lineup includes artists such as Pesado, Julión Álvarez y Costumbre, Banda El Recodo, and Brett Young. Authorities expect daily attendance between 15,000 and 25,000 people, with a total projection of up to 100,000 visitors over the course of the event, driving significant economic activity in the region.
