Rodha Executive Office in Shabwa Holds Meeting on Service Performance and Teacher Support

The Rodha executive office in the Shabwa governorate convened its regular July meeting, chaired by Director General Atik Saeed bin Habtour and attended by Secretary General Ahmed Mohamed Ja'oul. Officials reviewed reports from the Industry & Commerce and Education departments, praising market‑price controls and the continuity of schooling that enabled several students to earn overseas scholarships.

The office reaffirmed its backing for teachers, urging swift payment of allowances and the implementation of a 20 % government salary increase, as well as a larger share of contractual teaching posts for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Additional agenda items included follow‑up on the previous session’s recommendations, directives from the governorate leadership, infrastructure work around state facilities, and preparations for a mobile committee to distribute smart‑card cards.

The meeting concluded with a series of decisions aimed at improving administrative and service performance and a commendation for Ali Ahmed Shenam Al‑Jilani, head of the local social committee, for his contributions to education.
