Rodia opens new 130-space parking area on lungomare

The municipality of Rodia has opened a new parking area on the lungomare to manage heavy tourist traffic and prevent illegal parking that previously obstructed emergency services. The 4,500-square-meter area features a dirt base and is equipped with public lighting.

The facility provides approximately 130 parking spaces and is free to use 24 hours a day. Mayor Federico Basile stated that the intervention aims to improve the livability and accessibility of the northern Riviera coastline for residents and visitors during the summer season.
