Rodney Leysner missing person search yields no results

Search efforts for Rodney Leysner, who has been missing since August 15, have yielded no results. A specialized Dutch rescue dog team was deployed to a specific location in Saramacca after initial scent reactions, but extensive excavation and soil analysis failed to locate any remains. The site has since been released.

The case has transitioned from a standard missing person report to a serious criminal investigation. Authorities have previously detained three individuals, and Leysner’s vehicle has been recovered. Ryan Torilal has been identified as a suspect. While physical searches in Saramacca have stalled, investigators are shifting focus toward forensic evidence, including telephone records, camera footage, and vehicle analysis to determine what happened to Leysner.
