Rodolfo Arruabarrena reaches 100 matches as Boca Juniors manager

Rodolfo Arruabarrena has reached the milestone of 100 matches as the head coach of Boca Juniors. Across his two tenures with the club, Arruabarrena has accumulated 61 victories, 21 draws, and 18 defeats, winning more than half of the matches overseen during his leadership.

His first stint as manager began in August 2014 following the departure of Carlos Bianchi. During that period, he managed 75 matches, securing 47 wins, 13 draws, and 15 losses, while winning two titles in 2015: the Primera División championship and the Copa Argentina.

Having returned to the club in 2026, Arruabarrena is currently managing the team across multiple competitions. Notable recent achievements include securing qualification in the Copa Sudamericana following a 3-1 victory against Vasco da Gama in Brazil.

Carlos Bianchi, the club's most successful manager, has praised Arruabarrena, describing him as “professional, respectful and intelligent.”
