Lawyer Carmen Balfagón has denied reports that Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho was arrested during a police raid on a boat in Mexico. Balfagón clarified that the actor has not been in Mexico or the United States and that the claims are entirely false.

The controversy stems from a photograph circulated by a Mexican news outlet and subsequently shared by YouTuber Miguel Temprano. The image, which depicts Sancho appearing to be in police custody, is alleged to have been generated using Artificial Intelligence.

Balfagón described the use of AI to create such deceptive content as ‘very dangerous’ and stated that legal action will be taken against the Mexican media outlet and Miguel Temprano if the information is not rectified. The actor is reportedly very upset by the damage to his reputation.
