Rodrigo Buinho Wins European Junior Endurance Title in France

On 31 July 2026, Portuguese rider Rodrigo Buinho of Estremoz secured the European Junior and Young Riders Endurance Championship in Jullianges, France. Competing with his horse Amuleto de Guadarranque, the pair completed a 120‑kilometre course divided into four phases under the auspices of the Fédération Equestre Internationale.

Buinho entered the European event after winning his third consecutive national junior endurance title in March 2026, a victory that earned him municipal support of €500 for travel. The win was celebrated by the Estremoz municipality, highlighting the rider’s role in promoting the town’s profile in Portuguese and European equestrian sport.
